Why is nobody looking?

Climate change is real and a threat to our societies and the way we live, yet too often it is ignored. We have to see it first before a difference can be made. Our film shows what is at stake and makes global warming tangible and attention shareable.

The temperature rise is in our hands.

Change the temperature and see the consequences.

A densely populated Mediterranean city state, Monaco is particularly vulnerable to global warming because rising sea levels and heavy rainfall lead to coastal erosion and flooding.

In the Austrian Alps, global warming threatens more than just ski lodges. When the permafrost melts, there is no snow gun that can save tourism. Extreme weather and landslides may grow in frequency.

Built on water and barely above sea level, Venice is already battling rising tidelines. As sea levels climb, floods will become more frequent, threatening the city’s very existence.

Even a fairy-tale castle can’t escape reality: perched high in the Bavarian Alps, Neuschwanstein faces the threats of extreme weather and drought, bringing wildfire risks previously only seen in California.

The facts are clear. Let’s act together.

More Information

We not only offer the best network, but also ensure particularly green and sustainable products and initiatives.

Eating more plants.

What we eat has a big impact on the planet. Meat and dairy production creates a lot of emissions and takes up huge amounts of land. Eating less meat is good for the climate and helps protect nature and wildlife. In Germany, food production makes up about 10% of total emissions. Experts say that eating more plant-based foods could cut these emissions by up to 81% – that’s 52 million tonnes of CO₂ every year. No special technology is needed, and change can start today. We don’t all have to go vegan; simply eating less meat already makes a big difference.

Grow a future.

Forests are powerful allies in the fight against global warming. Trees absorb CO₂, regulate water cycles and create vital habitats for countless species. Reforesting degraded areas and planting trees in cities helps restore ecosystems, improve air quality and make urban spaces more resilient to heat. Protecting and expanding forests isn’t just an environmental effort — done right, it’s an investment in a healthier, more sustainable future for generations to come.

Choose your transport flexibly.

We don’t all have to give up cars – but how we move matters. Even small changes in our daily commute can have a big impact on the climate. Bikes and cargo bikes, electric or not, are one of the most climate-friendly choices. Public transport is another strong option, and on-demand buses can provide connections in places where public transport isn’t a viable option yet. Car sharing initiatives open up new possibilities, too.

Switch to a circular economy.

In the fight against the climate crisis, transitioning to e-mobility is essential. However, for a sustainable circular economy, many more changes will be required. Public transport, car sharing and ride pooling will increasingly need to replace individual transport. For the remaining vehicles, the reuse and repurposing of materials and components will become increasingly important.

Save electricity at home.

Whether with or without a green energy plan, saving electricity benefits everyone – especially with rising energy prices. To reduce energy consumption effectively, there’s no need to buy new devices right away. Simply putting a lid on the pot while cooking and choosing the right burner size is a good start. If you also heat pasta water in the kettle, you’re already an advanced energy saver.

Help your company change.

Companies usually have a much larger carbon footprint than any single person – and with that, a much larger chance of being a real agent of change in climate change mitigation. Find out how your company can better understand its climate impact and discover ways each department can contribute. There are many tried, tested and ready-to-use options already available.

Not chasing fast fashion.

The textile industry accounts for about 10% of global CO₂ emissions – but our choices can make a difference. Opting for sustainable clothing, second-hand fashion or timeless pieces helps cut the emissions tied to new textile production. After all, even a single pair of jeans leaves a footprint, and producing one emits around 24 kg of CO₂.

Talking helps others – even the climate.

There are many narratives that seek to slow down the transition to a sustainable future. Reliable and easy-to-understand information is crucial for debunking false narratives and choosing actions based on facts.
